Meet The Team..
Nysha - has recently joined the team and is currently involved in working with the Community Work Placement. Within this role she is delivering workshops daily to clients on Employability subjects.
Nysha is a qualified teacher with a Diploma in Post Compulsory Education and currently studying towards a degree in Post Compulsory Education. She has previous experience of working with young people having taught for 2 years. Nysha also supported students aged 16-18 with learning and behavioural issues for 2 years at a local college with Autism and Asperger’s being her speciality.
Dominic - has 15 years’ experience in customer service and previously worked at Cadburys for 8 years. Dominic studied Management at the University of Birmingham, specialising in marketing strategies. Since joining the organisation back in 2014 he has undergone Mentoring and Coaching qualifications. As Placement Supervisor he has built a strong rapport with the Department of Work and Pensions and our other stakeholders.
Clifton Cameron is the founder of Birmingham Community Development Scheme Ltd and Birmingham Youth Empowerment Project CIC. His background is in IT, but has over 30 years’ experience working in community development and youth projects internationally and in the UK. He is a qualified housing practitioner with a degree in Housing Management, and qualifications in Youth Work, ICT, project management, Legal Studies. Clifton hold certificates in criminology and psychology at Birmingham City University.
